What's with this "elusiveness"?

Watching Sonnen's and Anderson Silva's "elusive" victories as of late, I have to wonder how has this come into fashion lately? Seems no matter the era, fighters will find a way to make fights boring. First it was buttscooting, then laynpray, now elusive standup is the big thing. WTF why can't fighters just engage?

Only boring to TUF noobs like you.

Real fight fans recognize the execution of a good gameplan when we see it.

Chael could have walked out of the cage with 3 minutes left and still won the decision.

How is boring the piss out of the fans "execution of a good gameplan"? Don't get me wrong, I'm not one of these fans who get pissed the second a fight hits the ground, but fighters who won't engage standing don't interest me or 90% of the fans.

I guess Frank Mirr is a TUF noob as well cause even he didn't understand Sonnen's "execution of a good gameplan." --> Game plans might cause a W, but it will most definitely have promotions thinking twice about signing this guy for another fight.

Boring fight..... alright sparring session.

I could engage in an argument, but I prefer to be elusive.

As a real fan of debating, I recognize B_Goetz execution of a good gameplan by not engaging in an arguement
