He will immediately go back to HW and destroy whoever has the strap. With Cain now fighting the likes of Browne and his injury issues, I see Daniel giving no fucks about moving back up. He has a better chin and gas tank than Cain as well. Eventually Cain will become the #1 contender. When this happen Bones moves up, smashes Cain, Breaks Cormier, then becomes the undisputed GOAT..
Cormier is just in the wrong era... THE BONES ERA!!!!!!
not sure he would destroy Werdum though
If he loses he should move up. He would be the champ.

Until Jones follows him to HW and takes that strap away, too.
Agree with the original post and the reply comment. Sorry Daniel.

I would not say he wins the HW strap at this point in time considering the fact that DC and his team said Cain was the best fighter to walk through AKA's doors and we saw what happened with him and Werdum. And after last Saturday we see why Jones has not moved up in weight.
Moving to 205 to grab a belt and start a rivalry with Jones that draws a lot of money is the best move he made for his career not only stylistically but also financially. He made the right call.
OriginalTUFer -Oh man, DC would implode if that happened.TexDeuce - If he loses he should move up. He would be the champ.

Werdum beats him everywhere I think. Better striking, obviously submission, and his clinch game might even be better.
Would be a great fight though.
R00STER -That actually would be funny as hell. DC goes up to HW and gets the belt and Bones immediately follows him and takes it from him. I think DC would have a legit mental breakdown waking up in cold sweats thinking about Bones.OriginalTUFer -Oh man, DC would implode if that happened.TexDeuce - If he loses he should move up.
