His standup is sick but he needs to improve his wrestling against the likes of Guida, Maynard, Edgar, Miller, and Henderson.
Guillard vs Guida makes sense, after he starches Roller of course. If he beat Guida, he'd be ready for the shot after the Bendo/Miller winner.
He should at least be on the PPV card. I guess they put you on prelims on Spike to put on an exciting fight to draw in more PPV buyers, but I dont think I ever seen him on PPV.
If Melvin dedicates himself to learning grappling (which, obviously should have happened by now, but is not too late, regardless) he will be a handful for most anyone at 155. The sky is the limit for a well-focused, well-trained Melvin Guillard.
