UFC Hall of Famer Mark Coleman turned his Olympic wrestling skills into MMA success, becoming the first UFC heavyweight champion and PRIDE Grand Prix champion. Known as 'the godfather of ground & pound,' the legendary Coleman now works to repair the strained relationship with his older daughters as he relishes a new title: Stay-at-home dad.
are these the two daughters who came into the PRIDE ring after his fight with FEDOR with his face busted up and them crying while he introduced them to the man who had just pummeled him?
He seemed estranged from his daughters which is sad. You can tell they’re self absorbed teenagers
Agreed also the way he hugged them at the end looked genuine on his part but they looked a bit uncomfortable, probably there mother has been wispering poison in there ears about him for years.
I've met Coleman a few times backstage at regional shows and the best word I can describe him as is intense. He genuinely cared about his fighters and lived through them.
This interview is also 17 min long so it's lacking the word FUCK about 100x
Of all the other things about Mark why just go straight to the mans worst flaw? A lot of people struggle with alcohol and addiction and Mark still became a champion even with that going on. Respect the man a little more instead of just judging him by that one label an “alcoholic”
If people think Mark gets drunk at shows and is an asshole then my advice is to stay away from him lol. Alcohol does shit to people
I didn't know about the alcohol thing, but I found the video moving. He's clearly upset and hoping to rebuild some sort of relationship with his daughters and seems very genuine and humble.

That or they've seen Dad drunk and angry a few more times than any one of us would ever want to. I'm not saying one way or the other because I know how teenage girls can be. But if you are a big strong man who has been hit in the head too many times and drink too much there could be a whole fucking lot more to it than you guys are taking into account. Some people fuck things up so bad in their personal relationships they spend the rest of their lives trying to fix them. I hope the best for Mark and his family. The dude has a huge heart and I hope he can find happiness.
