He beat Arlovski 5 months ago. He doesn't even have a fight on the schedule yet. UFC match making has really gone to shit since Joe Silva left.

They were likely waiting to see what happens with Lewis vs Hunt, and/or Werdum vs Overeem. Sounds like Stipe might get Cain, so they have to wait until the rest of the top of the division is ready to sign their next fight.

They should be having him fight every 3 months if they don't have a specific opponent in mind. If you want to build his name get him a highlight reel of KOs

I believed the fight was rumored to have been signed last week. Versus JDS in August 19, ufc 215, venue not announced but most likely Key Arena in Seattle.

Yeah I don't like it, it's a very winnable fight for JDS in a division with no new contenders since Lewis lost. Hopefully Minakov is signed soon.
