West side of the Island. Will be in the Wailea and Kehei area for a week.

Dude i am freakin jealous.  I went to Maui last june.  Seriously paradise on earth.  It was for my honeymoon so I did not get a chance to work out.

I added no value to this thread...

Thanks man. Do they charge a drop in fee?

Don’t know about a drop in fee. They have a facebook site if you want to send them an e-mail.

nah i'll just drop in, gi and $20 in hand. if they want it they can have it.

You can also try Rickson Gracie 5th degree black belt Luis Heredia at Maui Jiu Jitsu. You can find info and contact at mauijiujitsu.com. With multiple black, brown and purples on the mat nearly every class, and a Rickson black belt teaching, plus a very welcoming enviroment, it is at least worth a look.

Clear across the island unfortunately.

Lucky. I'd love to hit the JJ scene in Hawaii one day.

Good call. Christian is a classic Carlson Gracie guard passer. He visits our school about once a year and I always look forward to it.

Limau's school is the oldest in Hawaii and has at least a dozen BBs that train there.

Clear across the island isn't a very long drive on Maui. You could probably hit both places while there. Phone Post

Yes of course they charge a drop in fee.. good to ask can I train today, then how much.

I am in Maui right now.

MAui JJ is very welcoming to people of all levels in my experience. Check out the recent interview with Lima on fightworks podcast - amazing guy.

The drive to Haiku (MJJ) is only half an hour. But Limao is also teaching classes at a Karate school in Kihei - it's just not on his website yet. He also has an affiliate in Kahalui, but they are between locations as of a few days ago.

When are you coming? It is nice to meet other UG'ers.

I paid $20 drop in fee at MJJ. They may work something out if you are doing a lot.

fake- i fractured my wrist but ended up going to Maui JJ anyway. Limao and those guys were completely awesome. Really fantastic group of guys there. I will definately be back and can't recommend them enough.

You were there tonight? I was there last night! I'm not sure if open roll is on or not tomorrow - but I plan on checking it out.

Are you going any more? I am here 'til Thursday. Glad you had a good time!

Fake- I might go try and roll Monday morning if my wrist will allow. I'm staying in Kehei here on business. Where are you? Phone Post

I'm in ma'alea - maybe 10-15 minutes from you, on vacation with the family.

Where is Fowler training now, North Shore in Oahu?

Here’s Christian Kennedy Grandi new website. Well, I think its new, my old link wasn’t working.
