Paul Jones was is a good fighter. His only loss came to Chuck Liddell in the UFC. His last fight was in 2000. FCF has him at 11-1-1.
His rear-naked photo on the cover of FCF was a classic. He beat Flavio Maura who just won an IVC tournament. Jones might have had a weight advantage if I remember correctly.
I don't have an answer, but I do know he was already pretty old when he was competing.
