Where's the doubters?

Me...flame away.

Some people just cant be convinced. every step along the way people have doubted conor, even now when he KOs Jose fucking Aldo in 15 seconds he is doubted.

1. UFC has placed all their eggs in two baskets: Conor and Ronda.

2. Ronda just lost. This is horrible for the UFC. They've set up an immediate rematch in hopes she can regain the title.

3. After Ronda lost, Conor was the sole star of the UFC. They COULD NOT afford to have him lose. The loss of both stars would be catastrophic for them.

4. Conor's previous fight with Mendes was already suspect (more details can be provided if requested).

5. Aldo's demeanor immediately prior to the fight. You can tell he's working something out in his mind, unsure, deciding if he should...do what, exactly? I think we all know.

6. One the greatest strikers in the sport is dropped by the first punch thrown by someone as unskilled as Conor? No. Just no.

7. Rogan already trying to squelch talk of a rematch between Jose and Conor...because maybe Jose doesn't make the same decision this time.

8. The preceding seven points pretty much prove the fight was fixed.

Aldo got caught, but still the greatest Featherweight of all time. Conor has six more years for same distinction. Phone Post 3.0

Lol if you guys think that was conclusive then I guess buster Douglas was too. Look, Connor won, but if you can't see how this was worst possible scenario for ufc I don't kmow what to say. Wth all that build up, ya, there needs to be an immediate rematch. Jose aldo was a 10 year champ and he won by a flash ko. Aldo deserves a rematch before Connor runs to the lightweight division. Phone Post 3.0

I'm a fan of both, but aldo should get an immediate rematch in in march. Phone Post 3.0

JOB - Where you at?

Honestly. If Connor won any other way.

That's the worst possible finish because it doesn't really tell us anything.

Connor won, props to him, but it all happened so fucking fast that it literally tells us NOTHING about how either guy matches up.

It tells us he can KO a a dominant long-time champion and master striker with a single punch.

Truth.

It tells us that all those clowns were wrong who said he was all talk and that Aldo was going to wipe the floor with him.

It tells us who the champion is.

It tells me I was right when I said Mendes gave a better fight than Aldo would.

WAR KING CONOR

I wanted Aldo to win and every time I visualize the fight I mostly see CM knocking Aldo out. Couldn't quite understand that.

Props to CM he has destroyed EVERYONE he's faced in the UFC so far.

Wow. All that put into a post you are too afraid to use your real account for. Phone Post 3.0

Right here. Eating crow.

303 - Lol if you think that solved anything you're a fucking idiot. Same thing if Jose won that way. Conor didn't legitimize anything lol. West outcome possible for ufc. Conor is no more the champ now than he was when he took the fight. Phone Post 3.0
Admittedly I would have preferred the fight to go on much longer, but what in the fuck are you talking about?! Phone Post 3.0

Worst possible outcome for the ufc? I'd say it's probably best that uncle frank, Lorenzo and Dana could have hoped for. Their main man is now the champ. He's not hurt at all, so they can do a quick turn around. Look at all the options it's opened up. Fight with Edgar, rematch with Aldo, which will be just as big $$ wise. They can have him try and become a dual champion by winning the lightweight belt. How is it bad for the ufc? Phone Post 3.0

Precision beard speed..... Every time. Phone Post 3.0

beats. Phone Post 3.0

When aldo slept so quickly I burst out laughing. Phone Post 3.0

Never been so happy to be wrong, what a brilliant counter punch.

Aldo melted under the lights, surreal way to cap off an excellent card with loads of great scraps.

MMA is the craziest shit sometimes.

gtownhoya - To be fair, Aldo was winning that fight until he got hit. Phone Post 3.0

It looked like he lost the fight in his head 20 times in the walk out alone.
