Vitor Belfort lost his UFC middleweight title fight versus Anderson Silva and three fights later lost his UFC lightheavyweight title fight versus Jon Jones. However, in his last three fights Belfort has been on a tear, knocking out Michael Bisping, Luke Rockhold, and Dan Henderson, and now wants another shot at the middleweight title:

According to UFC president Dana White, Belfort has earned the shot at the belt and even Silva - previously hesitant to fight him again after knocking Belfort out nearly three years ago -?? is on board with the rematch at this point.

"(Ed) Soares was telling me that Anderson absolutely thinks Vitor deserves another shot. The next move for him will be Vitor Belfort," White revealed today.

The same can be said for Weidman if he beats Silva for a second time, his next challenge will come from Belfort in 2014.

"If Anderson Silva doesn't win this fight, Chris Weidman and Vitor," White confirmed.

in brazil, sauced out of his fucking mind, he has a shot of beating either within the first 10 mins.

If weidman wins they better not have that fight in Brazil. You want to be the champ come get the belt. Not only the trt issue but fuck those Brazilian decisions Phone Post 3.0

Yeah if weidman wins again it certainly shouldn't be in Brazil. Phone Post 3.0

This. No steroids can protect against Anderson's toes on your chin though! ( please no horrible foot sucking gif.....) Phone Post 3.0

TRT Belfort for the moterfucking win!!

"We did it mama!!!" Phone Post 3.0

I'd never be comfortable bettering against Anderson, but Vitor could beat either of them at this point. Idk that he will, but he definitely could Phone Post 3.0

As long as he fights for the title in the US, I'm cool with him fighting for the title. Especially if Chris wins. If Weidman has to go to Brazil to defend the belt, that'll be the most fucked up thing the UFC has ever done. Phone Post 3.0

Yeah, he could...

....in Brazil.

I like watching Vitor Schwarzanegger just as much as the next guy, but this fight has to be in the US.

Knowing Dana though, I can almost guarantee it will be in Brazil, regardless of who wins on Dec. 28.

Do all none American champs fight on home soil? They'll put it where it's going to make the most money I would guess. Maybe America, maybe Brazil. Phone Post 3.0

If Weidman squirms past Silva which I don't believe he will. Belfort will KO Weidman in devastating fashion. Phone Post 3.0

Yup! Belfort has earned it too. Bisping, Rockhold & Hendo all knocked out.

he could also beat either guy in the usa or japan. however, the fight will take place in brazil. why? because dana and the ufc are about $. if spider wins then the fight is easily justifiable in brazil. if chris wins, it is also. dana will say, "I can sell 100,000 tickets for this fight in brazil and sell it to the whole world during the world cup. American fans, will buy it anyway."

vitor does not win only in brazil because of trt. vitor started trt around the time of the silva fight, and since then he beat akiyama in the states. akiyama is not the toughest of guys, but the fight took place in the usa.

Why does Vitor keep getting these shots?

As long as the fight lasts longer than the first one I'm happy. I felt robbed of a good standup fight after the foot to the face. Phone Post 3.0

How do they line up the next shot? Machida, Jacare, Mousassi?

Why does Vitor keep getting these shots?

WAT?

Why do you think?

He's the last great thing left in MMA. Phone Post 3.0

Let Weidman beat Vitor in Brazil with his super powers, would be legit.
