White: Machida vs. Diaz was a bad idea.

MrNiceguy66 - They both would've lost by controversial split decision. Phone Post 3.0

mma interpreter - Wonder what the "other things going on with Diaz" are... Girlfriend/other personal shit/management problems? Man, I hope everything is ok. Phone Post
It's fucking Diaz bro, of course it is not ok. Everything is always fucked. Whether it be not enough money fighting or he's fighting too much or he didn't get help in training or whatever else it is. Diaz is one of my favorite fighters but I'm getting real tired of the bullshit. Phone Post 3.0

If that really was Joe Silva's idea he deserves criticism for it. He's getting pretty bad with matchmaking. It's at the point I think they need a new guy doing that job.

Put Diaz against a fighter who stands and trades or isnt afraid of his guard. Not a counter strike. Phone Post 3.0

If you're relly a Diaz fan, you never get tired of the "bullshit". A lot of it is what makes most fans like the guy so much - he comes across as real and not "perfect" like the images some other assholes try to sell. Phone Post

Actually I think thats what makes him popular with the teenage and young adult demographic.

Most grown men have their shit in order and get sick of listening to guy that make pretty fucking good money by most peoples standards doing what he supposedly loves continue to whinge and whine and act like a spoilt child.

I am a huge fan of the way he fights, but I try and ignore the rest of it as much as I can, because as a father and an adult I honestly find it pretty embarrassing for a grown man in his position to act the way he does.

And my faith in this forum has been restored a bit.

Diaz vs. Matt Brown. Ain't nobody being evasive in that fight.

Why was it a bad idea?? Because he stood a pretty fair chance of LOSING??? Phone Post

Diaz' only win in his current run in the UFC is over BJ Penn, a legitimate 155er. 2 losses later and he'd fight one of the best 205ers in the world? Of course it was a bad idea.

Seen that movie over 100 times, I'm willing to bet. Between that, Predator, Die Hard, Best of the Best, and Big Trouble in Little China, my entire childhood is encapsulated.

I am not in his position, nor do I know him personally. I have never met him, and I have no idea what he is going through mentally and emotionally. I would never even begin to judge him because I am not him and I do not know what he has been through in his life.

Unless you really know someone inside out, you've "walked a mile in their shoes", which is very rare and normally only the case with close siblings or very close friends, how can you possibly judge them? Phone Post

I am not judging him as a person I am simply suggesting that his behaviour, constant complaining and repeated inability to meet his obligations is irritating to most adults who have to handle their shit, regardless of what their personal circumstances.

This is the real world, people are judged on the way they behave and the decisions they make. If he makes his living by performing for an audience then he must expect that audience to have opinions on his performance and behaviour.

Sincerely though, if you genuinely live that ethos and treat all people without any form of judgement, not just spout it in defence of your favourite athlete, then I am impressed that you are above the basic judgementalism of the rest of the world. Its a higher path you walk and not an easy one.
