At last weekend's UFC Fight in Brazil, Drew Dober was on the wrong end of a referee mistake that ended a fight. Dober was in a guillotine choke, but had passed to side mount and it appeared his opponent was loosening his grip, but the referee jumped in and declared his opponent the winner.

Obviously upset about the call, Dober was likely not in the mood to be pranked, but UFC President Dana White did it to him in the locker room for a laugh:
“Once we were back in the locker room, I was told that Dana White wanted to see me,” Dober said. “The first thing he said was that he couldn’t believe that I would tap that quick to a guillotine and that I shouldn’t be a UFC fighter because of it. And then he smiled and said, ‘Just kidding.’ Then we laughed and he said that I would get paid the win bonus and he thought it was complete BS and would try his best to get it overturned into a no-contest.”
Earlier this week after some investigation the Brazilian Commission (CABMMA) ruled the bout a no-contest after the referee admitted he had made a mistake. So not only did Dober receive his win purse, there will not be a loss on his record.
