Figured I would see who the top 10th planet heavies are. Big fan of Eddies, just always got frustrated as a heavyweight to try and learn it. Who are the guys to watch?
Thanks,

Just saw Eddies 230lb master thread, but still would love to learn about some of their top heavyweight guys
Adam sachnoff is probably one of 10th planet'a top heavyweight, produced by the genius Denny prokopos! There is also Amir Allam, He's about the same size as Adam maybe bigger but that guy has the craziest rubber guard from TOP HALF that I've ever been in! Both were invited to adcc but Adam hurt his knee and Amir took his place. John mejia from 10th planet Chicago is also making moves, he's a blue belt with a black belt level darce! Watch out for all the heavies from 10th planet, they're creating an army of savages!
Hey this is Adam Sachnoff. Thanks for the props guys. I have a youtube instructional channel. Lot of the moves work better for bigger guys. http://m.youtube.com/channel/UCkawS_IMp2bQWlLpecDLWwg
Also let me know if you have any questions I would be more than happy to try and help you.
What were some successful ways you increased your flwxibility?
Butterfly stretch everyday. Outer hip rotation flexibility will be the most helpful for learning rubberguard.
Also make sure to cut angles and cross face properly will make most techniques require way less flexibility.
Just came back to check this post, wow, thanks man. I'm definitely going to pick your brain a bit.
Advice for a white belt? What do i need to do besides the obvious? What should i focus on?
Get good at escaping bad spots have a go to escape from bottom side, bottom mount, and back control. Learn at least one pass from all the basic guard positions and a sweep as well. Get good at a few subs triangle, armbar and kimuras. That is a great start.
