who could stop overeem in boxing?

suppose he was interested in obtaining another belt in a different venue.... wich heavyweights could stop him?

David Haye. Would be a historic Brit v Brit fight that could fill Wembley.

He would get beat up BAD in boxing. Totally different ballgame.

Even in this years GP he got rocked a few times by Tyrone Spong who went up from 74kg to 105kg for that fight. When they stood beside each other for the decision, overeem looked 3 times as big....and Spong brought the fight that night to him.

Gokhan Saki rocked him and dropped him on his ass as well, with a badly injured arm.

And this is not boxing, this is in his own turf.

Majority of the top tier heavyweights would make him look like an amateur. Boxing is not k-1... Phone Post

@ Dsaint. Lol at pac being a bum. I bet Floyd may would say he would run the ring with the reem, then when he is offered the fight, request extra drug tests, and then when that ridiculous request ismet by the reem, floyd would then remain silent... I wonder what chain of event would make me think would happen????? Phone Post

He is just too stiff/robotic for pure boxing.

Haye would lay him out like a tablecloth, has much more movement than him and is waaaay too fast for him.

Probably go like sefo, all this hype behind him and then gets sparked out by someone unknown/he should smash.

You clearly have not watch overeem fighting recently, or understood his style, he is using his size defensively, he waits to get his looks for openings and counters.

He was never rocked by Spong not even close.

Spong did land a solid shot that made Reem stagger for a second early in the fight but that was it. Rocked may be too strong a word but it certainly got Overeems attention.

Also Spong did not move up from 74kg for that fight. He's been at or over 95kg since late 08 or 09.

Kharitonov KO'd him, and Kharitonov was a decent amateur boxer. Any top-tier heavyweight boxers would destroy him. He is too predictable.

IMO it would be a shame to see him in a sport where he can't kick or knee, and can't clinch as much. There's obviously clinching in boxing, but in MMA the ref doesn't ever separate the opponents. Phone Post
