Who do you have as the second greatest tennis player of all-time?

Federer and Djokovic both have 20 grand slams. I know that Federer is the sentimental choice because his style is so esthetically pleasing and because he used to be the GOAT, but Djokovic pretty much has him beat in all of the categories outside of grand slams, where they are tied. Djokovic has won most of their head to head matches, and he’s spent more weeks ranked number one.

  1. Nadal

  2. Djokovic

  3. Federer

I have Jimmy Conners at #1.

Not too worried about the rest of the list.

I think this list was composed using a lot of emotion.

He’s asking YOUR list, not the PM of Australia…

Lol, yeah that’s fair to say…but Federer is still the goat for me. I think prime Sampras beats prime Djoker at Wimbledon

Federer #1 still, until he isn’t.

Then it’s Djoker at 2a

Nadal at 2b

Then Sampras firmly at 4.

Yeah, it’s hard to argue with that top 3.

I’m a Federer homer through and through, but if you put him above Nadal or Djokovic, you’re failing to be objective.

Most singles titles and most wins in the Open era = Jimmy Conners.

Sam Snead had the most tour wins in history but no one would put him in a top 3 (or even a top 5) GOAT list.

I would love to see prime Sampras vs prime Djokovic at Wimbledon!

Lendl

He was amazing. I feel like he was the first modern top tier player.

no mention of laver? he’s definitely in the top 10 if not top 5.

So, so, long ago. Those guys were terrible players compared to modern players. I know that he was incredible for his era but I just can’t take guys like that seriously when talking GOAT status.
