The judges didn't impress me when they had the split decision for McGee and one judge had it 30-27 for him and the other had it 30-27 for Whittaker.
I was disappointed in him. He's a really nice guy. I've met him and had a drink with him and he's good shit. I always pull for him also because he fights exciting always.
The problem is that he doesn't fight as well when he is backing up, he keeps his head pretty stationary, and he doesn't cover up all that well. He just isn't a defensive fighter and I think it has a lot to do with his personality. He is an adrenaline junkie and he never plays it safe. He definitely fights like that too.
Rafael backed him up well often, landed heavy shots, and his right hook was the big difference in that fight. I'd say he impressed me with that performance. A win over Cerrone is no easy task.

I was also impressed with Condit. The NBK is such a great fighter.
Kelvin Gastelum is going to be a monster at 170. He was a pretty sizeable 185 and he is a giant at 170. He is constantly improving and is pretty well rounded.
