I was told to keep an out of for Jarred Brooks at 125 by a friend. He's undefeated as an amateur and so far 2-0 as a pro. Was #1 wrestler in the US at 113lbs in high school. From Warsaw, Indiana. Phone Post 3.0

He's not new, just a forgotten fighter. He's currently riding a four fight win streak in the UFC. His name is TJ Grant, you may have heard of him. Phone Post 3.0

Haha on a serious note though probably khabib, not sure if he fits the bill of new but he's the man at 55. Or maybe even that Swedish 45er Backstrom, looked good in his last and he's 6 foot and only 25 so depending on how he looks this weekend he could be someone to look at

Thatch, dunno what happened to him though Phone Post 3.0

Miles Jury.

The guy is driven and has a very good mindset. Experiencing rock bottom and being dirt poor has really helped his character. Most importantly, he looks to be a pretty solid performer so far, mentally tough and put his skills together during fights.

If he keeps on building his skills and knowledge by seeking to learn from the best (like GSP) and trains with good people he can be a champ.

As the other guy said Niklas Backstrom is definitely the guy to watch out for. Undefeated young and a real talent. Phone Post 3.0

just watched his last fight again, intensity in that dude is awesome as well. Really likeable fight style and attitude. European gyms and talent are definitely on the up

Had to pull out of his bout with Mein because of a compound toe fracture. Put some nasty pics up on his twitter with the bone sticking out.

But yes, Brandon Thatch for sure is going to be a contender and might even be champ one day.
