i don't particularly 'like' either fighter, but i'd much rather see gsp continue to be champ. on the flipside if diaz were to win, i honestly don't see him defending it more than once if that due to all the wrestle heavy contenders.

I like real fighters. I used to be a GSP fan but he is the poster boy of "safe fighting" and won't take any chances in a fight. Too boring. It's pretty bad when you have such a dominant champ and he has literally no material for a highlight reel other than fights that happened 7 or 8 years ago and a couple of takedowns.

I'm a big fan of GSP's work ethic and demeanour. But I can't deny that WW (and MW for that matter) would be made much more interesting with a shakeup. Look at HW right now, it's awesome when you have a bunch of contenders and no dominant champ.

I don't know why everyone is fired up for this fight.. we're on board for 5 rounds of hugging and a dominant GSP as always.. Nick Diaz has fantastic boxing but pillow hands.. he won't drop GSP.. I hope he can keep this fight standing to smother the shit out of GSP but it will likely end in a zillion of takedowns round after round :(
