Probably the Dutch in terms of the question period but as usual, is it period or for MMA? Also, lets not forget that the Dutch incorporated karate into what is Dutch Kickboxing today.

Anderson is clearly the best MMA striker we've seen so far and he incorporates everything from many so much that i dont see him as an MMA MT guy, an MMA boxer, an MMA TKD guy. I see him as a free MMA striker.

MMA- Pettis, Aldo, Anderson, Spong, Mo Smith.

Kick Boxing- Hoost, Dekkers, Payakaroon, Souwer... Too many to name but those dudes of the top of my head.

super nintendo - If your talking mma, then Anderson and Aldo and maybe Wanderlei Phone Post 3.0

Wandy stands square in front of his opponent, shoulders and hips - then unearths a Tasmanian Devil barrage of strikes.
That's not traditional boxing or Muay Thai Phone Post

Neither Anderson or even Aldo are traditional boxing or MT either. Wandy did fight as you said but dont forget he outboxed Rampage straight up too. I think both times he finished with the clinch but caught him with his hands first and not from the tasmanian exchanges either. He was a brawler, yes but at his prime, he could also box too.

I think it has to Samart Payakaroon if you are asking specifically about a fighter's ability to mix traditional boxing and Muay Thai.

Did you not watch Yamato walk him down and smash him in a brutal boxing/elbow war?

I think Kevin is a great fighter, but stylistically, he's very traditional thai - Kicks and clinching (because that's exactly how you win judges' score cards in muay thai. hands don't score well)

that said, I've got to say that in general, the Dutch built the boxing/muay thai blueprint and now you see fighters from all over the world have that foundation of hand combinations and lowkicks (high/low)

IMHO, Giorgio Petrosyan has the best hybrid style.  You'll rarely see a kickboxer with the footwork and ability to use boxing angles like Giorgio. He's a world class southpaw fighter.

Master Segul for sure...
