Who is the greatest sub 160lbs boxer

Of all time?? Phone Post 3.0

Willie Pep or Manos De Piedra

Duran

Good argument for Tony Canzoneri.

Other possibilities would be Carlos Ortiz, Henry Armstrong, and (braces for shitstorm) Floyd Mayweather.

Its too hard to compare some era's. In the modern era(1970-present we'll say) I go with Roberto Duran, Pernell Whitaker, Ricardo Lopez, Ray Leonard and Floyd. I would say there are a few others who could be named, but this was what came to mind.

Ever? Henry Armstrong, Willie Pep, Benny Leonard. Oh yeah this guy named Walker Smith was pretty good. A lot people called him Sugar Ray Robinson

I think that is the general consensus. Probably the best ever, pound for pound.

I didn't forget him. He was a beast, I just don't think he is the all time greatest, though he is catagorized as one of the Greats. He didn't snd wouldn't have beaten Pernell at 140 or 135. I don't think he would have beaten Duran, and don't believe he would have beaten Floyd. Not a knock on him, I rank him just below the absolute greatest fighters. His record is a bit deceiving.

This sure looks like him.

My bad. I was thinking of Harry Greb

He's always over looked. His is probably a bad analogy but he's like the friend of a smoking hot chick that is a perfect 10. The friend is a solid 8 with a better personality but every one still forgets her because of her hot friend. Phone Post 3.0

Roberto Duran
