I'm wondering who fans think is the journalist that does the most investigative journalism in MMA and if fans even want a journalist like that in MMA?
Easy!

There are none.

It's hard to say, until we see Youtube footage of them fucking one of these machines up at a UFC Fan Expo.
Haha
Seems like MMA fans don't want that out of their reporters. Even Morgan got some push back when he went after Vitor Belfort. I do a podcast and I have no desire to be that guy but there has to be a place for it, right?

I like Ben Fowlkes..
^ my buddie broke his wrist on one of those machines. I drew blood myself.
And when I was 17 I recall a Scottish gentleman in a nightclub running the lenght of the dancefloor to deliver a flyind headbutt to one, e-honda style.
I love them machines
Josh Gross, when he was with Sherdog--not so much these days. Maybe Steve Maracco from MMAJunkie.com?

I love the soccer kick machines, I can almost max it out.
My favourite is Dave Meltzer. Hes been covering the sport since the early days of UFC 1 and combined with his historical knowledge and wealth of contacts he always is able to provide a keen insight in his articles.
There's practically none. They tippy toe around all the controversial stuff because they know what will happen if they piss off papa Dana. Just watch the post fight media scrum with Dana after the fights on Saturday. It's basically an ass licking contest.

This when you have an angry lunatic holding press passes hostage there is no room for real journalism
Brent Brookhouse at BloodyElbow
Zach Arnold at FightOpinion

This, however, i wish he would write more about mma. hes more into pro wrestling.

I like Meltzer, but I wouldn't describe his work as 'hard hitting'. He doesn't really do in-depth investigative journalism that will piss people off.
When I think hard hitting, I think of the stuff Zach Arnold did when Pride was going down the tubes, or is currently doing in regards to the CSAC. I think of the dogged way that Brent Brookhouse has stuck with the Lloyd Irvin story and remained a thorn in Master Lloyd's side despite threats coming from that camp.
I don't know. Gross still does a decent job. Snowden does a good job.

This is the only acceptable answer.
