I just watched a bunch of different classic fights, like Silva vs Sonnen 1.
There is noone even close. Obviously the fights make the excitement, but his commentary adds another element to it. He knows what he's talking about. He calls stuff before they even happens, numerous times per fight. He's got a great vocabulary, and he talks like a normal guy. Not like these "professional" sports broadcasters.
It just won't be the same when he calls it quits.
He's a great part of MMA's success.

I agree, it'll be a sad day when Rogan leaves. He always said he's leaving once Dana is gone, so whenever Dana retires I think we'll see Rogan step away as well.

Joe has an extremely unique set of tools and mixed with his probing personality I don't see anyone ever filling the hole that Joe leaves.

Agreed. He's pretty good aswell. Not sure how good he would be in top level MMA though.
