When Ontario people have to fly out to B.C. They are going to have the same problem the rest of Canada will have.

If there's only 1 Canadian slot per division in the North Am, you would still need to have the winners of an Eastern and Western semi meet up to determine that slot, and it would have to be at the same time and place, hence one or both of them would have to travel.
And think of all the Americans who have to fly to BC for the North Am trials. And last year, everyone who had to go to California (or whereever it was).
That's the problem with big countries and small sports without funding.
