Awesome tournament with great format. It went smoothly and the format forced people to go for submissions which made it a run faster and resulted in more excitement.
I agree, action packed matches, about 90% of matches ended in
submissions.

Nice job on the superfight it was a really fast pace fight and exciting.
Im really amazed at the style of grappling that just about every competitor from beginner to advanced brought to the tournament.
I would publically like to say "THANK YOU" to each and everyone of them that competed.
'Also...the only form of advertising I did was the HG. So i think it may be called the ICON HG Tournament from now on.
We will now do a tourney at the gym the 1st Saturday of every month starting in April.
Thank you TJ for opening your doors to all that competed. That was one
of the most enjoyable, hassle-free, politic free tourneys I have been to.
btw, since it is now a HG approved event, I have some HG news.

intergender championship on the line for the next event.
The tourney did run fast, but I think that was due to the number of competitors and the 3 min limits. It was very fast paced matches, very excititng to watch.

I think this also made it more enjoyable for the competitors, other tourneys take all day and I think people tend to lose interest as the day drags on...
