Though I think the guy who matches up best with Fedor is....Josh Barnett.
Perhaps there should be a rematch between CC and Barnett to build up to the next title shot.
I'd still like to see CC vs. Fedor but I think Josh would take CC out if they fought first.

tom erickson and josh barnett can beat fedor.maybe pedro rizzo too.
Erikson is an interesting matchup for any HW but I think Fedor's striking and subs would get him out on top vs. Erikson.
Rizzo is a good matchup too but too passive. I think Fedor could GNP him to a stoppage.
Barnett is the best matchup for Fedor by a mile I think.
i know erickson is no k-1 champ but i bet his wrestling and striking should be as good if not better than fedor.

Fedor needs to be the first unified PRIDE/UFC champ. then he should challenge someone in a huge main stream fight. like tyson. just because fedor will have enough of a following to finally merit a match that would take this much $

Cro Cop has just won the OWGP and is the obvious choice.
If Erikson was 10 years younger, training fulltime, and fighting regularly, he might actually be able to hold down Fedor for a decision. As is, he wouldn't stand a chance in hell.

Wand for a freak show Cop seems obvious, Mino4? naaar he beat him twice already, maybe Roger one day but that is way off, so how about Arona, or Fabrisio Verdon (spelling)or the Polish Judo guy, there are a few but they will all lose, especially with the new upgrades Fador has had. Roll on the next Human vs Android Pride special.

Or he could fight someone like Khartonov, Werdum, Hunt before fighting Crocop.
Even though Barnet has less of a chance than CC, I'd rather see that first since they've never fought before.
The winner of the OWGP was guaranteed a fight with the Pride HW champ. And truthfully anyone who comes out as the victor in a tourney with Silva CroCop, Josh and Mino seriously deserves a title shot. I think Mirko would've beaten Fedor that night too but I guess we'll see on NYE
Fedor has no challenge left. He has beaten all challengers to his title soundly. The really sad thing about this is that there is no division for him to "step up" to.......
Unlike Vanderlei who reached the point in time that there was nothing else to do in LHW, he then moved up a division just to take on new challenges. Fedor can't do this.......
Matt Hughes comes to mind. There is NOTHING left for him at WW, he has already beaten EVERYONE. Now will he move up a class and take on a new challenge? We will have to wait and see, at least in the mean time we can all have fun talking about it.
With Fedor, there's nothing to talk about.......
