Conor has climbed to the #4 spot at $99 million on the latest list of highest paid athletes, according to Forbes. That puts him above LeBron James, who is the NBA's top-paid player at $85.5 million, including endorsements. LeBron finished at #6 on the list.
The only guys to finish ahead of Conor were Mayweather, Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo.
Of course Conor could be facing some charges and a possible lawsuit or two for throwing a dolly through a bus window.
Messi was convicted of tax fraud after being outed in the Panama Papers, but he avoided jail.

Lebron and i can’t stand the guy.
LeBron has more earning potential. Conor had the best year ever but 2018 won't be close.
Lebron by a fucking mile.
He's been making millions for 15 years.
LeBron can play competitive basketball for 20 years. Very unlikely Conor fights even for another 3-4 years... his words, not mine. At no point will Conor, or has Conor, ever been "worth more" than LeBron, except maybe when LeBron was in high school. That's coming from a guy who *despises* team sports, especially basketball.
Are you kidding? How do you think their 2018 earnings will look?
Lebron: $85m+
Conor: $0
2019:
Lebron: $90m+
Conor: maybe $20m if he fights twice in the ufc
Conor will never sniff that again. He’s lucky Floyd chose him.
LeBron James’ net worth is $400 million.Oct 17, 2017
That was last year and will prob increase $50m minimum every year he plays, and will continue to grow after retirement
I think Conor has a few more big paydays. There's no reason he can't take a Pacquiao fight, no reason he can't fight GSP and Nate, both guaranteed paydays (probably more like the $20m range FBR suggested). Tough to do all of that again in one year, though.
I don't think you have any idea how much an elite NBA player can make. The team contract is usually the least lucrative thing they will do. The shoe deal, athletic wear, movies, and commercials are where it is at. Think of all the Lebron commercials, he probably earns several million per commercial plus the residual income thereafter. Lebron also inked a LIFETIME deal with Nike valued to be as much as 1 billion...this isn't including his BEATS commercial, soda commercials, KIA commercials, NBA commercials, or movie appearances.
I think Conor had 1 Burger King commercial this year where he talked about their seasonal chicken sandwhich.....

His earnings will decline with each successive loss. He’d be smart to seek a trilogy fight with Nate before getting humiliated by GSP.
lebron has a lifetime deal with nike
they say it could be worth over a billion but who knows for sure
Glowman - Lebron by a fucking mile.

This, OP isn't very bright

This…Jordan retired in 2003. From 2000-2012 he made $480m, FROM NIKE ALONE!
He’s now worth like $1.7b.
Like I said, Lebron will continue to earn tons of money even after retirement

Hey, Drip. Where in the OP do I say Conor is actually worth more or has more lifetime earning potential?
I’m citing the latest Forbes highest-paid athletes list. That’s what the thread is based on.

Exactly. If it was not for Mayweather, McGregor wouldn’t even be on this list.

Your question is which one is worth more. Sorry, you are not very bright.
This thread has turned into a nightmare for OP.
Conor will be lucky to match the career earnings of Juwan Howard
Conor even being on LeBron's level for one year is kinda amazing....
Lebron will be an actual billionaire though.
Look at the top 100 list. 40 of them are basketball players. One of them is an mma fighter. That's about all you need to know.
