Putting him behind a mic is almost as idiotic as putting him in a co-main. These verbal exchanges with DC are incredibly awkward and embarrassing to watch.
That interview sold more PPVs than if he was silent.
Seems a lot closer to genius then being idiotic.
came across well imo, calm and up for it. DC came across as Douchey.
I was actually impressed with Cummins verbal skills; at the end of the day, you take a guy working at a coffee store with 4 fights to his name, suddenly throw him into the biggest show in the world and on tv face to face with the most well known face in the sport and his opponent and not only does he not choke and clam up with nerves, but he pulls out some smack talk, some banter and looks quite comfortable doing it.
Will he beat DC? I can't see it. Am I now a little more interested in the fight than I was initially? yeah, I am.
Whose idea was it to let thread starter to open an account here?
I think he did well I'm definitely a tiny bit interested in the fight now! And just wishing cummins gets that lucky shot to knock dc out
Well if you're going to talk like that op, you have to call him Patrick.
Dude needs to sell the fight

Well stated DanCrase.
It's got the "Rocky" feel. Which is fun.
We still get to see Dan fight, otherwise he's just be off the card. No other 205'ers scrambling to fight DC.
Pat has done well for himself. Who wouldn't walk out of the coffee-shop and into the cage?
I bet his second fight in the UFC is not as tough as his first.
I hope Pat shows really well.
This whole buildup seems fake to me. Can't believe the whole 205 roster is too scared to fight DC on short notice. And if that was true let Anthony Johnson or Sonnen fight him as they volunteered already. I think ufc wanted a guranteed win for DC to build up big fight with Jones.
Not sure if being trolled... You all think Cummins came off well there?

I personally would rather serve coffee then fight but I digress.
Seats Taken - Well if you're going to talk like that op, you have to call him Patrick.
Then immediately refer to him as Pat like 5 times.
Dana likes him. That's why he's behind the mic.
