Well, I think the real question to ask is if it's smart to pull a guillotine off against a good sub guy who is bigger, stronger and a better grappler than you. And then lose it and not immediately try to get back to your feet. Chael either had ring rust and quit or the outcome was predetermined.

Thank you. That's what I've been saying. Either way, A shity fight for sure. You would think no one would ever throw a fight but it's happened before. No one would EVER get caught.
No one can ever convince me that Kimbo vs Shamerock wasn't fixed either.
This one, I'm 50/50 on. But something wasn't right at all.
Heck even UFC has a fight off the top of my head with Franklin and Shamrock that was a fixed fight. Shamrock slipping on that banana peel in the center of the right going down. Don't think Rich knew about it though.

I think the best scenario for them would be a great fight and potential rematch, so I don't have an answer for you.

Yup. Chael has been known to "game the system." I normally hate it when the tin foil hats come out but this genuinely looked fishy. Looked like a metamoris match except that Chael gave his back then held his hands out in front like he was doing "Thriller" rather than hand fight. Why wouldn't he hand fight?

So, I'm no bjj expert, but I've trained long enough to know when a choke is sunk or whether the submission is more of a neck crank or jaw popper.
Tito's choke was not a sunk in RNC. Chael was turning red/purple, so it was doing something to him.
But Chael kept on saying over and over how it was Tito's night and that Tito had the RNC locked in. He said RNC over and over. Nothing about his jaw or neck. You'd have to watch it for yourself, but it made me suspicious.
