Kerr “violated” his contract with the UFC when SEG owned it. He never held the heavyweight title, never had and great UFC wins.
Kerr never shown an ounce of concern for the UFC the way guys like Hughes/Franklin did. I don’t see why the UFC would help him.

Mark Kerr competed in two UFC's in the 90’s and his biggest win there was over Dan fucking Bobish. He was long gone from the UFC before Dana White was even involved. Go ask any relatively new fan who Mark Kerr is and they will probably just look at you. Why would the current UFC have anything to do with a guy who really amounts to little more than a footnote in the promotion's history?
Also, it's not like the guy is destitute. As others have said, a car salesman can make a good living if they are good at their job.
