Maybe because the majority of MMA fans can be quite horrible. I follow a number of MMA fighters/personalities on social media. Occasionally, I’ll make the stupid mistake of checking out the comments section. It’s truly a cesspool of the absolute worst elements of humanity.
It’s ironic that OP is wondering this, when he can be pretty bad (but far from the worst) with this behaviour.
