He is a stud! 26-6 over a 10 year career, every loss was a Title Fight to badass opponents.
I think he has at least 20 that's right TWENTY finishes in his 26 wins.
What more do you haters want from the guy? He sucks because he lost to Brown, Cruz, Aldo? Every loss is to a complete badass...
We need more fighters like Faber who bust their butts for years and leave it all in the cage.
Agreed. Faber was in beast mode tonight. Just like after the Cruz loss, he made a case for him to be part of the title conversation.
faber is a beast. people are haters because he has charisma and is athletic but after a close fought decision he destroys the number 1 contenders and gets right back in the mix.
His only flaw is his height and he makes up for that with his massive hog and his chiseled chin.
Faber is a treasure.
I mean, he really fights hard and lays it on the line so you gotta love that!
I'm done with the hate I had for him. Fucker brings it....
Dislike him because i think he is really arrogant, but i was rooting for him tonight and thought he was incredible. No denying he is top notch.
I think they're hating because he pulled off a standing rear naked choke on Ivan Menjivar but he fucked it up when he tried to pull it off on Ronda.
He's very under appreciated. I've never seen him in a boring fight.
Favorite fighter at 157? Faber. I was there I saw it.
Old Thrashbarg - I do get the annoyance with his seemingly automatic title shot talk, but I like him. He's a beast, and seems like a nice cool dude.
He beats the number one contenders. I'd prefer he gets shots over his he can consistently beat.

What number one contender has he beaten in the UFC?
Wineland and Menjivar are contenders. Wineland is in up for a shot against baro now and had menjivar won he'd be to. The division is thin. Only other top bw he hasn't beaten other than the v two champs is McDonald.

Not quite number one contenders but the way he took out bowles was very impressive.

Yeah they are definitely contenders, Bowles as well. But none of them with maybe the exception of Bowles was high in the top ten rankings when they took on Faber. I'd like to see Faber take on Mayday before he gets another shot at Barao or Cruz.

When I watched that fight I was genuinely stunned, I really didn't expect such a dominating performance.

Who are in the top 10? Mayday just lost. Faber as persistent as he is earns hours spot
Faber is awesome, has an exciting fighting style, well spoken, college educated man who has been in the top 3-5 of the Division(s) nearly his entire career!

Well the way I perceived the top ten before the Faber/Menjivar fight was
1. Dominick Cruz
2. Renan Barao
3. Michael McDonald
4. Urijah Faber
5. Eddie Wineland
6. Brad Pickett
7. Raphael Assuncao
8. Mike Easton
9. Brian Bowles
10. Ivan Menjivar
While Mcdonald just lost, there aren't many people with the exception of Cruz & Barao that are holding long win streaks in the WEC/UFC
