I can't wait for the thread that says "Never... Kicks Ass" I think it will be like most movies released as of late. Great effects, hot 24 year old girls acting as high school girls, great fight scenes, and a plot that makes you think "What the hell was that about, I think it was like the Karate Kid or something."

i would prefer if the first big budget mma movie was a little more "true", grittier film (i.e. fight club), however i'm not sure that would get the wide audience appeal the studios look for.
in any event, ferox is correct. at least it shows the sport of mma is gaining enough popularity to be recognized in a big budget main-stream movie.
