That video isn’t exactly why I never trust a phone call from an unlisted number.
I was walking down the street on 4/20 last week in Byron Bay, Australia, just finished smoking a bowl and went for a scenic walk to start my little weekend vacation. When some random fella asks me if I want to go hanggliding. Well I was high as fuck and thought to myself, how can I get any higher than I am right now? So I said fuck it let’s do it, what a fucking experience.

I went hanggliding last Saturday as well. I prefer it to paragliding.

That's usualy what causes accdents.
I used to skydive. I know the guy who hit the white truck. Some of these weren’t that big a deal. Some were very very close to death.

It's really hard to tell what happened....
1) he was strapped in properly, hooked properly to the line.
2) as he was running and lifted off, his arms were over the tow line, so the two lines were under his armpits. You can see the other worker yelling at him because of his arm positioning. As he lifted off the ground, he was essentially holding himself up with the lines under his armpits, taking the load off of the two links that he was supposed to hang from. I do believe that he panicked.
Everything I've read says the harness was still intact, but not if he was still wearing it or if he slipped out....
Crazy how the guides are not even strapped in, just hanging free on the parachute!
