Fighters had the majority of sponsors and the cage had maybe 3 big sponsors plastered on it, and after signing reebok the cage is pretty much riddled with all the sponsors the fighters used to get? Seems like a big scam and they really got fucked! The fighters should get part of all sponsors since reebok ass fucked them so bad!
Reebok didn't fuck anybody. UFC did the fucking.
Those guys were never sponsoring fighters, they were buying ad space on their shorts for broadcast on UFC.
The ones who were actually sponsoring the fighters are still sponsoring the fighters.

Most intelligent thing I have read on here in a long time. People don't understand that these "sponsors" were paying pennies on the dollars for millions of impressions on a live broadcast. A normal TV spot during FOX primetime could be upwards of 100k depending upon length. These "sponsors" would get a spot on a fighters shorts for the duration of a fight even if it lasted the full 15 or 25 min spending probably a fraction of that. The problem is most mma fans are too dumb to even realize that.

The point I am trying to make is that the fighters were being ripped off from both ends. I don't like the Reebok deal at all and I didn't like the sponsors paying the fighters crap money while taking advantage of the ability to advertisie to millions on a shoe string budget.

Some of you like to play semantics over to the sponsors were actually sponsoring the bottom line is the fighters were getting paid more money before Reebok than they are now, doesn't really matter what the sponsors were paying for? More dollars were ending up in Fighters pockets.
