Good, Fuck him, heās a fraudā¦great fighter thoughā¦
Kenny Florian is once again thriving in a commentary role and proving there are other places to do so outside of the UFC.
Florian, a longtime competitor, analyst and color commentator for the UFC has moved on to the PFL, where he offers his expertise, alongside fellow former competitors Sean OāConnell and Randy Couture.
In terms of his departure from the UFC, there really hasnāt been a clear answer as to why Florian is no longer part of the broadcast team, even to Florian himself.
āMy understanding ā and this is whatās been told to me from people inside the company ā I guess I said no to being a coach⦠I was asked to coach on, I think, The Ultimate Fighter: Latin America , one of the early ones back in the day,ā Florian told Ariel Helwani on The MMA Hour . āI wasnāt able to do it. It was travel and all of that stuff, and I was doing UFC Tonight , I was doing commentary work, and I just had a lot of stuff going on at home, so I just wasnāt able to really do it.
āIt just didnāt make sense, and because I said no, I kind of slowly started being removed from stuff. Thatās my understanding. Thatās whatās been told to me ā not directly, but by people within the company who are close to the source. But I guess thatās how it went down. So I stopped doing that, and last year I started doing stuff for the PFL, which has been awesome. Itās been great to call fights, be in that energy, and be right up close to the cage again and thatās been a lot of fun.ā
The PFL will return for their 2022 season in April ā where Florian will resume his color commentator role ā while also adding their new Challenger Series show that gives up and coming prospects the opportunity to compete for a roster spot for the upcoming season, and the $1 million prize.
Florian is happy to have a new role within the sport and has no regrets about parting ways with the UFC.
āI think if someone called me directly and was like, āHey, please, can you just do this,ā I probably wouldāve done it,ā Florian explained. āIāve always done my best to keep the people who are employing me as happy as possible. I donāt have any [regrets]. I try not to look back on things, and things happen for the best and Iām pretty happy where I am right now. Things are good.ā
Heās a bad ass dude for sure, but was stealing material and undercutting the revenue stream of someone that was doing the actual workā¦
can you elaborate . I think he still posts here

And I got to look it up, but I recall once this broke some other things came out about him taking from other analystsā¦been a while gotta jog my memoryā¦
Really liked him before that tooā¦met him at IBJJF in NYC in 2016, seemed niceā¦
me too thanks
One of the best gameplan fighters the UFC ever had. The list is short of guys who used elbows so masterfully and I thought he was one of the best commentators they had. Iām looking forward to watching him in the pfl even though my guy Wade lost in the finals last year. I give 2 shits if he plagerized a little, going to college now with all that software has got to be a fucking nightmare for these kids. I remember when a fraternity file was all you needed. Half the shit most of us say got taken from soneone else. Did Forian ever fight at 145? He fought on the show at a 185 I believe as well, thats salty.
Heās a good commentator, glad heās back with another org.
Do you want to be a fucking fighter
