Why Top Gear UK is the best show on TV

I just watched James May review the Bentley Continental GT Speed, and then turn the keys over to a rally driver who took the 150k car straight on to a WRC track. Freaking amazing TV. Phone Post 3.0

The specials at the end of series are fantastic. I highly recommend the north pole one if you get chance ( I only saw it once, it was somewhere like that)

Vietnam

Africa

Jungle

The American road trip in used cars

I love when they travel abroad and get in shit Phone Post

The music also sets it apart. Well put together show. Phone Post

I also resd somewhere that it has a waiting list of pretty much forever to get in the studio audience.

That might have been written by Jeremy though so who knows, I cant remember Phone Post

MOTHER FUCKER

No need to specify that you're talking about the UK version. The US version doesn't really exist. Phone Post

Bolivian rain forest was my favorite. How tense was this?

it really is a great show, didn't they get dui's for drinking the champagne on the north pole special? or at least some people wanted them too.

It's funny how the Aussie and US versions are jist so shit by comparison. (I'm and Aussie and hate ours).

I really think its the cast combination that's the seller. Phone Post

Amazing show! I love those guys! Phone Post 3.0

Best show on television imo Phone Post

I LOVE GSP - it really is a great show, didn't they get dui's for drinking the champagne on the north pole special? or at least some people wanted them too.

Hehe I was gonna comment when I recommended it that they drink booze to stay warm I forgot to. Phone Post

CHILLITACO - It's funny how the Aussie and US versions are jist so shit by comparison. (I'm and Aussie and hate ours).

An icy Top Gear episode showing hosts Jeremy Clarkson and James May drinking and driving has landed the pair in hot water.

The Polar Special, which screened in the UK last year and in New Zealand last month, featured the two drinking gin and tonics while trying to reach the Magnetic North Pole.

The BBC Trust was bombarded with viewer complaints about the episode, which also screened an image of a frostbitten penis.

BBC Trust criticised the show, saying it "could be seen to glamorise the misuse of alcohol".

BBC reports that the show's executive producer defended the pair's behaviour, saying that they were beyond the jurisdiction of drink drive laws, and were actually in international waters at the time.

The trust accepted that neither presenter was drunk or out of control of the vehicle, but said it was "not editorially justified in the context of a family show" at the time it screened.

In relation to the image of frostbitten genitalia, a statement from the trust said there was "a clear editorial purpose for the inclusion of an image of a frostbitten penis, which had been shown for a medical rather than a sexual purpose".

Mixing up some gin and tonics while driving around the North Pole was great.  LOL

That show is great. I think Brits get tired of hearing about it, though.

I always get a kick how they always call the Vette "Rubish " just to piss off the Vette owners .

Love the show, I used to download back home. Phone Post 3.0

MXR - I always get a kick how they always call the Vette "Rubish " just to piss off the Vette owners .

They say that about all American cars. Clarksons review of the ford lightning will make you throw your tv out the window! The only American car I've seen them really get hard for was the ford GT. clarkson even bought one!
