Any person or organization that claims to be the sole authority on what is factual or not should not be trusted.
Science and knowledge progresses through constant doubt and criticism. Anyone who says you must accept everything out there put out by an official fact checker today and you’re not allowed to question it… is really anti science and anti progress.
I’ll go even one step further… our current understanding of virtually every science is wrong. Virtually every physics model we use is wrong. Big bang theory is probably wrong. Almost our entire understanding of biology is wrong. People with 160-180 IQ coming up with scientific theories are probably getting 99.9% of them wrong…
Yet some politically biased fact checker with sub 100 IQ just happens to be the source of truth in the known universe.
