Can't figure out how this will go. This Chope dude is listed at 6'4 but don't know much about him. Seen Max in wars doing good but I am stumped.
Holloway is going to smoke him. Chope is can-crusher who probably doesn't even belong in the UFC. He's never fought anyone even remotely close to the level of guys that Max is used to facing.
As per Sherdog, Chope's opponents on his current win streak:
18-14
1-4

I watched Chope's highlight too. Sure, he's better than me, but I wasn't impressed. He looked to have almost no power. He did have some nice creative elbows though.

I actually watched like 5 of Chope's fights last night.
He's really long, and actually uses his length much better on the ground than he does standing up.
Lots of standing guillotine attempts, but a very sloppy kickboxer. (which is weird given that he's primarily a muay thai guy)
Tough to tell much given his level of competition, but I'd bet on Holloway if I was forced to bet.
"He's really long, and actually uses his length much better on the ground than he does standing up."
That seems to be a common problem in MMA. Guys like Jon Jones, who is masterful at using his length to maintain distance, are the exception rather than the rule.
Chope was at half mast for the weighins, therefore Max wins
As Slowshot said, Chope didn't do well at all using his range and let Holoway inside. He then proceeded to terrorise him. Good showing from Max.
