I hope so. Guy gets so much hate but he is much more knowledgeable of MMA than Goldberg and comes across as much more intelligent.

Voted up OP. I would hope that Joe would be receptive to working with Mauro. Goldy is cool and I have no beef with him remaining the voice of the UFC for the rest of time, but Mauro knows his shit and his passion is unrivaled. Maybe his unbridled enthusiam are what annoys a lot of people, but to me, he's one of the best commentators in all of sports.
Also, let me say I think Mauro would treat it as an absolute honor and not be a complete spaz if that's not what they want. I have faith in his ability to adapt.
