You are a solid poster and I pretty much agree with all of this, but Mc Gregor isn’t even in the top 10 of LWs as far as striking accuracy goes.
Poirier has better accuracy for example, and twice the fights, we saw what happened when they fought all the same.
This has the potential to be a bad fight for McGregor, if he can’t get rid of Khabib early he will probably be on the losing end of the striking exchanges by the later rounds, just due to fatigue.
