Tickets on sale soon.

I think the poster that said Nate asked for a pay increase and the UFC refused Nate was correct, so Conor probably doesn't want to fight on the card or can't without the Diaz fight. I assume Conor told them to pay Nate.

The UFC is maybe bitter about backing up the Brinks for Nate Diaz, since they said he doesn't move the needle etc.

UFC 200 won't come close to selling out without Conor or Diaz at the current ticket price...

In a positive way.

Look at how all the "bad" publicity had "hurt" Trump.

The tickets are supposed to go on sale in 8 days.

If Conor is retired when they go on sale, what are people paying premium prices for?

You mean by having something like 70% of the people disliking him? Trump has the highest negatives of any presidential candidate in modern history. His fans love him something fierce, but most, including a portion of his own party, dislike him.

If Conor holds out, the biggest winner could well be GSP. Conor holds his breath and the UFC hammers out a deal for GSP to face Lawler.

If not, I would guess they would simply put DC/Jones as the main event. You would have three title bouts (If Conor is retired, Aldo/Edgar would then be for the actual belt) and the heat between DC and Jones would likely be at 11 by the time fight comes around.

Who's the frontrunner for the Republican party in spite of MILLIONS being spent on bad press?

Trump.

Who the fuck cares if some minority of elite Republicans don't like him? That tells you something.

Anyhow, this is about Conor - bad press is press and great for selling tickets or getting votes.

I'm not making a fucking declaration of statement of truth, so everyone can keep their panties unwadded.

"I HOPE he's trolling for tickets."

I HOPE.

UFC 196 Cain vs Werdum 2.

Instead they replaced it ended up turning into-

UFC Fight Night Hendricks vs Thompson

UFC Fight Night Cowboy vs Cowboy

Originally it was supposed to be (Donald) Cowboy vs Tim Means. Means could'nt fight(USADA), so theyreplaced it.

UFC Fight Night Silva vs Bisping

Originally it was supposed to be Bisping vs Gegard Mousasi. Instead they replaced it with Anderson vs Bisping

UFC 196 was supposed to be Cain vs Werdum 2. instead that fight was scrapped, the event was canceled and moved to another date/venue.  It ended up replacing it with Nate Diaz vs Conor McGregor

UFC Fight Night Mir/Hunt took place as planned

The most recent UFC was supposed to be Tony Ferguson vs Khabib Nurmegomedov.

Instead Ferguson got injured and he was replaced with Paul Horton.

The very next UFC was supposed to be Jon Jones vs Daniel Cormier 2. Instead DC got injured, so theyreplaced DC with OSP.

In fact of the 6 most recent UFC events I listed, five of them had originally main event fighters pull out and they had replaced the main event.

If you are saying Conor or Nate are doing a tactic of "pretending" not to fight as to put UFC in the spot of having to replace them, they could not have done it at a worse time because UFC has a VERY recent history of replacing main event fighters.

What's UFC going to do, pay more money, or.......replace the fight?

The death may have had an effect on him in the sense that he better get paid exactly what he's worth for this fight that's coming up. There's no point in taking damage for small amounts of money. You got get as much money as you can when you are risking your life especially when you are in the most powerful bargaining position to do so.

There are rumors circulating that Zuffa won't give Nate what he wants in terms of money for the rematch, so he said he's not going to fight Conor.

Conor said he's retiring as a way to stand by Nate - a way to say "I won't fight either unless you pay Nate."

this is the perfect opportunity to bring in the fighter all the fans have been clamoring for for years now.

Lawler vs. Askren, main event UFC 200

After carvahlo passing away last week and close people to him having to leave the sport for health reasons, maybe it's hit home that he doesn't need the brain trauma. Getting hit in the head will catch up with fighters... Maybe he wants to leave now while he's the biggest draw and move onto better things that don't result in long term damage.

Read the post exactly right before yours. Reply back if you still think he is in "the most powerful bargaining position".

UFC could "replace" him with someone that would make 1/10th of the money, saving UFC lots of money, or they could offer to pay Conor more money, which could result in UFC having to p ay more fighters money down the raod.
