it looks like the infamous "Wing Chun Man", shawn obasi, may be fighting team renzo rep carlos cline in the co-main event of the brick city fighting championship in newark on october 2.
some of you may remember the video of obasi having a meltdown at the m-1 global tryouts in nyc, yelling and screaming "i'm a wing chun man! i'm going to be a wing chun man until the day i die!" well, it's almost guaranteed that cline is going to try to test his ground game.

Oh yeah, about that...my bad. Carlos worked Murph bad for two and a half rounds before the kneebah. Carlos is a nice guy, I hope he does well.

Cline was a cool guy back when I met him years ago at Renzo's. I dunno if Obasi is training his ground game somewhere else, but I haven't seen him at Alliance NYC for months if not years.
I'd lean towards Cline just because his sanity is largely intact.

Seems like a bad opponent choice for Obasi and a quick sub for Cline.

No I saw his post a few days ago if not a week ago, maybe he was just saying how Cline was scared of him or something, or that it was in the works, IDK I was probably not paying attention, you know, with all that porn on the internet its hard.
