with Cain out and caliber and top ranked HWs fighting in Strikeforce HW GP, its a no brainer that whoever wins this would be crowned the no.1 ranked Heavyweight on the planet

We will never know who is truly #1 until we have all the heavyweights fight but i would say winner of this (if Overeem is inckuded) should be considered number one. This is a deeper heavyweight tourny talent wise than anything the UFC could put in. Phone Post

Absolutely 100% correct. If they can get Kharitonov, Overeem included in this GP it would rival the '04 GP and '06 GP in Pride for talent depth.

No. They have washed up fighters all with question marks surrounding them. This tournament won't even go through smoothly and probably will fail. This tournament will help sort out who is legit though out of everybody currently.
