Wins that Solidified a Fighter's Legacy

I’m OP, lol. I still think it’s a good answer!

I honestly have no memory of Barnett winning a split over Nog. Do you remember what that fight was like?

Yeah. Josh’s resume – wins and losses – is just incredible.

Francis’ win over Stipe. Showed well rounded skills against a well-rounded all-time great. Francis is an all-time great heavyweight no matter what people say. Wins over Reem, Arlovski, JDS, Cain, Blaydes, Stipe. That’s a crazy resume

Hahahaha!! I don’t remember how that fight went. I’m old.

Matt serra over gsp?

Without that fight serra is 10-7 with his most notable win being frank trigg or Yves edwards.

Nate’s win over Conor.

BJ Penn beating Hughes for the ww title.

Nate is a good one. It always seemed like Nick was the more famous Diaz, but when Nate beat Conor, Nate surpassed his brother and cemented his legacy. That’s a good one.

Jennum over Howard.

Vale over Bittonio.

That’s a really good one. I wasn’t thinking of fights like that. When you combine that with Serra doing very well versus Hughes, it makes his legacy so much better.

Two very good ones.

BJ’s win over Hughes cements him closer to the top of all-time great lists. (BJ’s win over Gomi is also a big one for his LW status).

Nate’s win over Conor raises him above being a very good 1-time #1 contender.
