That chin is china
Why does his striking defence suck so much too? He still thinks he's fighting for a point and then gets ko'ed after the frame.
A thread not about Conor?...
We all know that you're secretly inserting a Conor McGregor action doll up your Dagestanian arse hole, while making this thread about Wonderbread. I assume you're typing with your free hand...

Fuck you buddy!
Kind of reminds me of Machida, when guys get their timing down their beatable.
jpm995 -Kind of reminds me of Machida, when guys get their timing down their beatable.
True.
But that is anyone in the UFC.
Jon Jones was so unpredictable but then guys started to see what he was doing and Jon fell back into using his athleticism and talent and not just tricks and moves no one had seen yet.
You have to have a solid game, not to say Wonderboy doesn’t, he does, but you have to have a solid base before you can veer far off of it.
The perfect punch/hit will knock anybody out nomatter how good your chin is. Wonderboy had just thrown a front leg side kick to the body on Pettis. Pettis timed him as he was backing out from it. Also the angle in which wonderboy's head was positioned at the moment of his evade. Combined with the force/leaverage Pettis created from jumping off the cage. The connection on the point of Wonderboys chin created the whiplash effect and the knock out.

It also looked like Wonderboy’s head bounced off the canvas too.
That will rattle your skull alone.
He's been getting tagged more and more, probably a bit of slowing down after a LIFETIME of fighting, and people starting to figure him out, plus his hand defense isnt great, but then again, neither is Pettis's

Yup. He's 36. Father Time is starting to sharpen up his knives for another meal.
Wonderboy isn’t done.
This is the fight game.
The more you fight, the greater the chance you get caught.
However, the more you fight, the more you have the chance to win.
CormierCumminsideme -KOed for first time in over 80 Kickboxing and MMA fights, took bombs from Woodley and survived...
Glass chin you are right.
This. lol

Wonderboy is 36. His fighting style is completely based on speed, agility, and timing. He just got KOd by a struggling 155er, and has had 1 win in his last 5 fights
All due respect to WB, if he’s not done he is VERY close to done.

I disagree.
Disagree, why? Has WB found the fountain of youth?

I’m baffled by this as well…his ability to get in and out of range is great but his head movement and hand defense is fucking terrible! If he gets landed on at all these days, he gets wobbled or KOed.Pettis even said it was a hard right that he threw…
WBs punching combos are pretty weak too…pitty patter punches

Jones is better in 2 key areas though than WB…his pure athleticism and his chin! Jones has been hit by several opponents and not once has he been wobbled or hurt…WB gets hurt if you just graze him it seems…
Oh and Jones wtestling is always a threat making his striking that much more effective whereas with WB, I don’t remember him ever trying to take someone down …he might need to start though!
He gave Woodley too much respect the first time
yeah all that reach against a guy like pettis and pettis was the guy attacking from further outside to get the KO. he should have seen a superman punch from a mile away if he was looking to use his reach properly, clearly he wasnt or had a mental lapse.
