"I can make 165, it wouldn't be nothin sexy, but I can make it. I can fight at 175 and 185 too"
"This is not a circus to me. You're not going to have me prepare for a 6'3 striker, southpaw, and then 24 hours before the fight, because this motherfucker missed weight and he's unprofessional, now I got to fight a 5'10 switch stance wrestler."
"It's kind of funny to me that you even fight for a title if you can't consistently make weight"</p>
on a potential fight with George "I'm good"
"I'm back fresh. I'm back hungry. This young kid lit a fire underneath me that I never had before. I'm taking everything personal"
"I'm progressively getting better and now I got a mindset where I'm just so violent thinking. Thinking about trying to hide where the referee can't see and break arms. I've never thought that way before. That's something I needed, so I need to thank Darren Till"
"My motivation is to prove my supporters right and the people that trained me right. I always feel like it's spiritual for me. Spiritually, I feel like God gave me the gifts. I've always had adversity, I've always been through hell, everybody's always told me what I wasn't going to do."
i see his point but this is the UFC and you play by their rules. if you’re not the type to agree to a fight like this you might want to go to another promotion.

That’s a dumbass reply. Do you think he can just up and leave the UFC and go fight elsewhere? He has a contract that says he can’t, just like Till has a contract saying he’ll make weight and Woodley has a contract saying he will fight Till.

if dude wants a job fighting for the UFC he should do what they want. if he doesn’t want to he should look for another job. it’s like any other job out there.
"It's kind of funny to me that you even fight for a title if you can't consistently make weight"
weird that he would even accept the fight then, especially on short notice
The short notice is in his favour. Till has to have a drastic weight cut to make the exact weight. Knowing that IF Till miraculously makes weight, he will be depleted by it.
Woodley has been really clever here, giving himself the best chance to win.

Yes but if Till says fuck it and misses weight, mightnot turn out so well for Woodley

Yes the world champion should go work at Walmart because some jabroni on mma forum says so. What a fucking loser mentality that is.
I think a more realistic case is the UFC needs to figure out how to quit letting these rumble Johnsons fuck up every division by walking around as land whales between fights.
Woodley is a racist/race baiting tool but shouldn’t stop fighting because the other fighters and organization don’t have their shit together anymore.

does his contract say he has to fight someone else on 24 hours notice? If not then he doesn’t have to do shit.

Definitely not like any other job out there. At all.

And, contracts. How do they work?
Exactly…both fighters signed a contract and are obligated to fulfill them. If one doesn’t, it’s not on the other to immediately sign a new contract.
I simply don’t believe he spent 50-60 grand on the camp. Not even a little. If he did, he’s literally retarded.
I don’t think that’s unrealistic. If fighters are making a million per fight, to invest 5% seems smart. Bring in, give room/board, and pay the best training partners available, hire a chef, nutritionist, massage therapist, etc…

That wouldn't work out well for till either. Dana cannot fucking stand it when fighters miss weight, and till is already on thin ice.
I am not a fan of Woodley, but I dont blame him here. If Till doesnt make weight, he should be penalized, not Woodley! Fighting someone like Usman is risky and if somehow Woodley loses, then his financial situation will change as well since he wont be champ.
ShootProod - 50 or 60 grand for a champions camp... Seems about right.
Let’s say Woodley makes 500 grand after PPV points, sponsors and pay. Camp cost 10%. Doesn’t that make sense?
Also I suspect and hope Woodley will make more than 500K.
His last fights he’s been making $500k flat fee, plus I’d imagine points as champ. And his last coiple he’s been the co main event of a Conor fight and Jones/Dc, which did 800k. Guarantee he’s been making over $1m per fight the last couple.
So 5% of his gross doesn’t seem unrealistic at all.
So, he's back fresh. He's back hungry. He's thinking violent
...but if offered a fight with the 170 GOAT his response would be no? "I'm good."
This dudes half a fag. Worst champ ever at this weightclass.
Where did he say he’d refuse a fight never offered?
Dude says he wants GSP. You fags cry he’s asking for a retired fighter. He’s says he’s over it and he’s good not talking about it. You fags cry. He fights everyone the ufc asks. You fags cry. Jesus pull your panties up man
