The worst PPV card I ever bought was UFC 119. 4 decisions although Sherk vs Dunham was good and a boring Cro Cop vs Mir main event. I was so excited to see that fight hoping it would be entertaining, it was horrible. What's the worst PPV you purchased

The Frank Mir/CroCop fight was on my birthday, and I did enjoy the knee, but that entire card was quite uneventful. However, I didn't purchase it- I watched it at the restaurant I was working as a server at.
Worst PPV I ever purchased? Would be hard to judge an entire show... I can't remember the last time an entire card disappointed me. But the most anti-climatic was Rampage/Evans.

not only was every fight a decision, but the ortiz fight cut out during the fight because they went over the time alotment.

During the post fight press conference for UFC 111, in response to questions about a perceived boring fight between Georges St. Pierre and Dan Hardy, UFC president Dana White commented that "UFC 33 is the only one I can remember where every fight sucked."

i edited my post. i don't remember how long, but the ortiz title fight cut off because they went over the allotment.

I use to e-mail Eric Bischoff when he was running WCW. Lot of my shit he used. I swear to this. Only really good reference I can use. I suggested Sting vs. Vampiro in a fire match, called "Loser Goes To Hell." It got called The Human Torch Match. If you listen to Vampiro in all the build-up, he references taking Sting to Hell. A lot of people will say I'm just talking shit. Maybe this is for. OTHER FORUM.

There's probably worse overall cards I've bought but UFC 61 sticks out in my mind. In college I convinced a bunch of friends to each pitch in $5 to buy it. None of them knew anything about MMA but I sold them on it being this great up and coming sport. Once they saw it they would be sold. Then Tim Sylvia and Andre Arlovski got in there for 25 minutes...
119 was my girlfriends first mma exposure, it was a frustrating experience

Ok. As far as mma and boxing pay-per-views, I am sure I have been burnt. I do know one thing. The shit is up on the Internet for free as soon as it happens. I'm not sure the impact it has on the UFC, etc. I mean why ppv an HBO show. They show it a week later. You have an instant spoiler online. You can watch later that night after it happens. This is right up there with Napster, Limewire, etc.
