I have found two cars I'm interested in buying. First is a black 2001 Honda Civic EX. The other is a blue 2001 Toyota Corolla S. Both cars have similar miles and features.
I think the Corolla engines are near indestructible from what I have read. They also use a timing chain so I wouldn't need to worry about getting a belt changed.
On the other hand the Honda engines are supposed to be pretty good too. There is also more after market support for the Civic, so replacement parts would probably be cheaper. I also like the looks of the Civic more.
So, I guess I'm asking if there is anything that should sway me to not buy the Civic and get the Corolla instead?
