Would you rather be Brock/Cris or RDA/Pettis?

I'm not saying they did, but let's assume for this scenario that the reason for RDA and Pettis (among others of course) seeming to fall off a cliff, competitively, is due to USADA testing. My question is;

Would you rather be those guys who've seen their careers take pretty significant hits in front of the world, casting doubt on how good they ever truly were, but NEVER testing positive. Essentially deciding to stayor go clean as real testing was instituted?

Or

be like Brock and Cris, among others, who did not abide and got popped by testing, however they did continue to smash top competition?

Yea. It definitely seems that way. I ask the question because I'd like to say I'd chose to never have career tainted by being a proven cheater but it really doesn't seem like those who get busted actually have much of their legacy affected negatively.
