I read somewhere that Morton is attempting to go back to football next season. He probably refused this test becuase he knew he would piss dirty and then he would be suspended 4 games by the NFL. He loses 100,000 from this fight, but retains his ability to make 2,000,000 next season in the NFL. This is my guess atleast.
It's his personal reputation. I would rather fail than let my friends, family, and fans know that I tested positive for illegal substances. --- Now that was if I was a respected athlete. Personally, at this stage in life, I could care less and I'd take the 100g's!!!

Not taking the test is a tacit admission that you have been using a banned substance. It hardly preserves one's reputation.
