Wow! Occasionally I’ll Google old celebrities, visit old websites that I find, use a few hashtags, etc. I was shocked to see that this site is still around. Is Kirik still the owner / moderator?
MMA.TV was like me favorite forum back in… I don’t know… 2005 or something. And my password still works! I couldn’t believe it! I had to update my password to 2025 standards. Something like “%W5vjd^&%$jfjfhhdERGSE%%$$$$$” 
A creation date was changed for everyone back in the day so my actual original registration date precedes what my account actually says. Everyone had some update on their account.
The two most popular threads I remember are… “I’m going to fight a Kung-fu guy” and “WI BJJ growing strong (something like that)” Actually that was on the UG. Oh… and let’s not forget all the Kimbo Slice threads and anti-McDojo threads that filled the MMA.tv forum before MMA was popular. Those were the days.
Where am I now? I’m still all about fitness, I do random activities just to stay fit. I still feel like a kid, but after MMA got SUPER popular, something everyone in the MMA.TV community wanted to happen, I totally lost interest. I ignore all the young fitness influencers these days. I HAVE been interested in visiting a boxing gym or BJJ dojo just for old memories. It’s been SOOO long, but trying to prove something to some kid just doesn’t appeal to me. Yeah… I’ve been there… done that. I’d probably go super defensive just for memories. I haven’t done MMA in years but I still remember all the basics, the interest does come back, but after seeing comments on Instagram vids that STILL pop up on my feed… I lose interest again. But I’d be all about challenging some to a rock climbing or running competition. LOL. The MMA vibe / scene is just different. I WOULD like to like to hang out with some MMA.TV OGs though. That could be cool.
OH! I remember the Under Ground complaining about “Magical” Ray Elbe a lot too. Too funny! The memories are coming back. Some of the funniest comments I’ve ever read came from the Other Ground. Oh… one OG thread was about a guy who wanted to date a coworker’s daughter. And a guy who who tried to get lucky with a female passenger next to him on the plane. Too funny! Early 2000’s… Those memories feel like yesterday.
Oh… I remember the poster WOG (wrath of God). Hold on… let me think of some others…
Another memory. Some guy posted his 1000th post and it was a vid of Homer Simpson taking on some random bar goer. Homer took loads of punches, didn’t do anything and lightly punched his opponent and won. It was supposed to resemble Kimbo Slice vs Gannon. Everyone loved it.
I might be the only OG here and will probably get pounded by a bunch of Gen Z kids. I had to create a post though just to get it off my chest. I’ll check back in a few days. If nobody wants me here, I’ll go away.
